Our Story
Legion Steel was born out of co-founder, Marshall Noble's 20 years of experience as a custom knife maker along with a total of 30 years experience in the knife industry. As an avid knife enthusiast it has been his mission to provide high quality and artistic knives to the public. Orginally making custom hand crafted knives, to later expand into designing for other manufacturers. So, it's no surprise that the next step would be a full line of high quality production knives through a company of his own. In 2022, Marshall partnered with co-founder, Marisa Amann. With a year of preparations, Marshall and Marisa excitedly launched Legion Steel in early 2023 as a new high quality knife brand offering their own original designs to cover many interests in the market. Ranging from user grade work knives and premium EDC knives up to and including premium collectable limited edition production knives. Both Marshall and Marisa bring a wide variety of skills to the company from their own professional histories to include, Knife industry experience, design and manufacturing, business management, marketing, graphic and web design and social media marketing along with many others. The balance of these skills between both Marshall and Marisa offer Legion Steel the ability to appeal to both the general user consumer and the discerning collector.
Marshall Noble
Starting in 1993 as a part time retail cutlery store employee, Marshall became fascinated with knives and soon moved up to become the store manager. In 2002 he became a custom knifemaker and began selling his custom knives under the guidance of James Rodebaugh, Herman Schneider and Bill Herndon. In 2015 he began designing for several reputable production knife companies and for a time worked for one of them. Marshall is the mastermind and artistic force behind the Legion Steel name. His passion and knowledge of knife making and design consistantly inspires and teaches the team something new every day. He also demonstrates perseverance and dedication along with a great sense of humor in all he is tasked with. Marshall brings 30 years of combined knife industry experience to Legion Steel.

Marisa Amann
With a wide skill set spanning over three decades Marisa brings her 20 years of experience in IT Technologies, Marketing and Business management. As well as later in 2012 Marisa moved on to help build some of America's coal and nuclear power plants and solar fields specializing in Occupational Health and Safety and Logistics Management. Marisa is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to continue building Legion Steel into a strong reputable company. Her encouraging attitude and drive for excellence always serves to inspire and challenge the Legion Steel team to go above and beyond in everything they do. Marisa brings over 20 years of business leadership experience to Legion Steel.
